Meghan is deeply grateful for her yoga practice, and that it led her to become the founder and caretaker of humble monkey yoga. A registered E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and certified yoga nidra facilitator, she is an avid student of yogic and Buddhist philosophy, has a fulfilling and varied personal practice that includes a whole lot of chanting, a deep affection for Hindu mythology and divine poetry of all traditions (special shout out to Hafiz) and a fondness for vegan chocolate chip cookies, especially the ones she makes with her kids.
With a personal intention to be of joyful service, Meg hopes to share with her students what she has learned from all her digging – that it doesn't matter what we do or know, it only matters that we love and accept, perfection not expected nor required. That's when the heart opens and life becomes a rich expression of our true loving nature. Whatever the style, her classes are taught with an open heart and a playful sense of humor, and a happy abundance of lovingkindness.
