My name is Meghan, I am a certified Ashtanga, Power and Yin Yoga teacher in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
I have been practicing yoga at home and in various studios for almost four years and recently received my Yoga Alliance-Certified 200hour training with Radhika Yoga in Ubud, Bali.
I have experienced and learned how the breath is the root of yoga. I hope to help facilitate this in my students and share the tools I have acquired for clearing the blockages in the body. This can be done through Pranayama work. I am bringing this more into my own practice, working to see past the illusions of this material world, and I am excited to bring this into classes I teach.
My main intention in my own yoga practice, which has changed a few times throughout my journey so far, is my discipline or tapas. Through this tapas, this constant meeting on my mat every morning, I'm finding a way to be more present, more loving, calmer and more balanced.
