| Yin & Yang | Hatha | Flow | All levels welcome | Joyful & Fun |
What to expect:
The styles of Yoga I teach are Yin & Yang and Hatha Flow. The classes focus on building stability, energy, mind + body connection and with a fun-loving bhakti feel. The Restorative Yin class is a time to practise effortless effort whilst being supported by blankets, bolsters and blocks - particularly great for stress relief, stretching the body without strain and becoming aware of your inner world.
My teachings are very much from the heart and I endeavour to offer classes which stay true to their Indian roots: Posture, breath, and meditation. These are mindful, authentic, harmonious and created for all levels. Yoga can help you to be present, relaxed and calm your mind.
I first tried Yoga nearly 12 years ago after hearing about the benefits of breath regulation and increased wellbeing as I had been dealing with anxiety. I found that Yoga quickly became a big part of my life and contributed to my health and wellbeing. I started to explore many different styles ranging from Sivananda, Astanga, Hatha, Yin & Yang, Vinyasa to Restorative Yoga which deepened my love for the practise even more!
In 2012 I completed a foundational Yoga course in Cambridge and then completed my Yoga Teacher Training with Simon Low at The Yoga Academy in 2015.
I have trained up to a total of 270 hours with The Yoga Academy and 20 hours with The Trauma Clinic for Trauma Sensitive Yoga and I am fully insured under Yoga Alliance UK.
