Melissa J. Chaney, , , is a native of Denver, Colorado and was educated and trained at PranaYoga and Ayurveda Mandala and the Ayurvedic Institute. Currently working as an author and registered yoga teacher; certified in Contemplative Hatha Yoga, Prenatal, and AyurYoga I and II. She is also a practitioner of yoga in her personal life.
Melissa J. Chaney has greatly enjoyed the opportunity to study with several amazing yoga leaders over the last 17 years, shaping the discovery of her first book. The book, Finding Personal Peace- Twenty-eight Yoga Classes for a Balanced Life, is written to empower everyone to participate in their own balancing discovery process. The art of balance teaches us to relate to our own experience and potential as human and spiritual beings.
The intention of Finding Personal Peace - Twenty-eight Yoga Classes for a Balanced Life, is to deepen the yoga experience, understanding, and enjoyment of the physical, mental, and spiritual well being of everyone interested in deepening their home practice.
Melissa also teaches Yoga and Ayurveda workshops, intensives, and private lessons. Melissa's love for, and experience with, Yoga has proffered Melissa's many years of both success and satisfaction in the teaching and training arena. Melissa's deep satisfaction is continuously multiplied by both teaching the asanas and philosophy to students, and learning from their growth and insights.
