Melissa Harms is an artist of adventure and nature her guiding inspiration. She began practicing yoga in 2002 while participating in collegiate athletics as she sought to gain an edge on her competitors. Since then, yoga has remained a constant in Melissa’s life. Following rehab of a knee injury from a skiing accident, Melissa dove deeper into yoga and emerged with a desire to combine her experience as a high school educator with her collegiate coaching background by becoming a RYT-200 yoga instructor. Mel trained in a modern style of Vinyasa Flow at Full Circle Yoga. Her classes invigorate students with a salty-sweet combination of grit and grace. Students can expect a breath driven flow infused with music and hands-on adjustments. Melissa lives by the motto, “Awesome is a Practice.” When Mel's not on her mat or teaching, she’s practicing that awesome outside skiing, climbing, or hiking.
