After growing up with an active lifestyle; dancing, playing soccer, and skiing, I settled into the same pattern many of us fall victim to. The corporate world took over, stealing precious time to take care of myself. Later, motherhood consumed me, I spent all of my energy caring for my two amazing children while I wasn’t at the office. After several attempts to take control of my physical wellbeing, including at least one failed gym membership, I discovered Yoga. I should credit my husband for introducing the practice to me. He “encouraged” me with a yoga mat under the tree one Christmas, and the rest is history. After one class I was hooked by the challenge, and fell in love with my physical and spiritual transformation. Soon I realized it was time for a change; life is too short, it was time for a new journey. I left my high stress role in the financial industry to become a registered yoga teacher (200 RYT). I am thrilled to give back, and enjoy sharing what I have learned through my practice with others.
