I've always been a bit of a gym rat, but I got turned on to the practice of yoga through friends. I instantly connected to not only the physical benefits of a regular practice, but also the mental/spiritual ones as well. The sense of peace and positive frame of mind I would attain after a practicing instigate my desire to learn more about the ins and outs of various forms of yoga. Teacher training provided me greater insight as to why the practice provides such wonderful benefits. It changed my life.
