Michael’s first intense experience of Okido yoga was in 1989 and he has been a constant devotee since then, studying with Hirotsugu Mori, Mizue Tamaki and many others. He organizes ‘Health and Yoga Holidays’ in Turkey with his partner, Pervin, has a black belt in Ki Aikido, and is a shiatsu practitioner and teacher in London.
Okido Yoga is the teaching of Japanese Master Masahiro Oki. It’s a dynamic and varied style of yoga that draws on many oriental sources, such as martial arts, Zen, shiatsu and macrobiotics as well as Indian Yoga, with the aim of healing on individual, social and environmental levels.
