I have been practicing yoga for 25 years. I started out with two teachers, a wonderful Mysore Astanga practitioner - and an Iyengar teacher - a direct student of BKS Iyengar.
Two very different styles of yoga - but I took lots from both. It was at that point I learned that you can learn something from all the different styles of yoga and so - over the years, I have purposely set out to experience as many different styles of yoga as possible.
My practice is therefore a culmination of all the yoga I have learned, my teacher training practice and the asanas I love.
Largely a Vinyasa Flow class. However, dependent on the students, energy levels, time of year etc - I adapt my practice to play with other styles of yoga too - to focus on alignment, health benefits, mindfulness, balance and energy.
I practice regularly with a wonderful Anusara teacher - and I teach two mixed ability classes a week in London.
Whilst an experienced yoga practitioner - I only recently embarked on teacher training.
