I started practicing yoga in 2008 and never looked back. I came to yoga after being a martial arts student for 7 years. I suffered a severe low back injury while testing for my brown belt and surgery was recommended but I refused. I started practicing yoga and do not have any problems with my low back any longer. I fell in love with the practice and I just felt absolutely wonderful. I started teaching in April 2012 subbing for my teacher, Joanne Hamlin. I finished my 200 hour teacher training certification in October, 2013 at the Yoga Institute in Houston, TX. I absolutely love sharing my passion for yoga. I highly recommend it and believe that it is beneficial to everyone. It has brought a greater peace to my life along with the physical practice for my body and the calming of my mind.

In addition to being a co-owner and instructor at Yoga Kula, I am a regional business manager for Townsquare Media (KLAW, KVRW, and KZCD). I have been in radio for over 25 years. I enjoy cooking, traveling, live music, and reading in my spare time along with Yoga of course.
