When I took my first yoga class in early 2006 in Philadelphia PA USA, it was love at first asana (pose). Initially it was the physical challenge of it, then I began to notice how it started to calm my mind and open my heart. I found that the world seemed more quiet while practicing and I began to actually see the love, compassion and contentment I could have for myself and for others. Since then I has devoted myself to the practice of yoga. In 2008, I completed my 250-hour teacher training at Wake Up Yoga under the watchful, caring and extremely talented eyes of Corina Benner and Jill Manning. In 2010 I continued my learning by beginning the 500-hour teaching training of Pranakriya with the masterfully skilled Yoganand Michael Carroll and Marlysa Sullivan.

As a teacher, I strive to show the many beautiful facets of Yoga, not just the asana practice. I encourages each student to appreciate their strengths and their weaknesses so they can begin to see their true Self, not just the illusion.

When I’m not practicing yoga you can perhaps find me at one of the many delicious restaurants here in London (see list on my website). Or in my east London flat reading almost anything that has to do with a nutrition or yoga. At night I enjoy cooking with my loving and always supportive husband Steven and dropping vegetable bits on the floor for our dog, Kiko…who incidentally loves tofu.
