Mike would say that Yoga is everything you do, and when you practice Yoga on a mat, you intensify that experience and challenge your limits as well as your perceptions. The best part is that you take a little part of this back into your world, and start to see things more as they really are.
The posture practice is a great analogy to our daily life. Listening to your body, knowing when you can bring determination to your posture when the ego would rather run away, or letting go and softening when we are struggling beyond our limits. These intentions to the posture can affect our inner power and inner grace with work, family, relationships, and our inner peace and perceptions of ourselves.
