In addition to teaching yoga, I am a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist with a mindfulness-based private practice. I also teach mindfulness meditation. As a yoga teacher, I emphasize not only the experience of the physical body, but also that of the mind, emotions, and breath. How we meet ourselves on the mat is a mirror reflection of what we do in our lives. I see yoga as a practice for creating a more integrated and fulfilling life, by exploring new attitudes on the mat with a beginner's mind, greater curiosity, courage, and self-compassion.
