As a graduated graphic designer I worked for years in different advertising companies in Munich until 2007 my partner got an interesting job offer in China. We took this exciting challenge and moved to Shanghai for 3 years. That was the beginning of my yoga journey. I discovered different styles of Yoga at Y+ Yoga Center (one of the biggest yoga studios in Asia). Very soon I fell in love with Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga and since then this holistic practice of yoga accompanies me on my path through life.

The urban jungle and working overtime at an event company took a lot of my vital energy. I was more and more seeking sanctuary in yoga and mediation. One day I realized that harmony of body, mind and soul are more important and I decided to turn my new passion into a profession and to work as a yoga teacher. 2008 I did my first yoga teacher training (200-Hour Yoga Alliance) with Lance Schuler (Inspya Yoga) at Y+ Yoga Center and I also completed successfully a hot yoga teacher training with Bill Arce.

Since I graduated from the yoga teacher training I was assisting different yoga teachers at Y+ Yoga Center, started teaching there and was participating as an assistant teacher in further Inspya yoga teacher trainings in Shanghai. I deepened my knowledge through several workshops and courses in applied anatomy and physiology with David Keil and Simon Borg-Olivier in Australia.

April 2010 I moved back to Germany. Since then I was teaching in Munich. I am constantly getting new inspiration and expanding my knowledge through workshops and courses. 2012 I additionally completed an intensive yin yoga training with Paul Grilley and a prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher training with Patricia Thielemann-Kapell. This was followed by another yin yoga teacher training with Josh Summers in February 2014 and subsequently a further trip to Shanghai where I finished the advanced yoga teacher training (300-Hour Yoga Alliance) with Lance Schuler.

November 2015 I moved again back to Asia but this time to Singapore to live and teach yoga here for the next couple of years.

In Yoga I finally found my true calling I had so far only been searching as a graphic designer.

In my yoga classes it is very important for me to give participants easy access to yoga and to adapt to special needs of each individual student. My teaching style varies quite a lot, from very gentle yin yoga to a challenging intermediate vinyasa flow, while always having a focus on body awareness, good alignment and effective breathing. With great joy and enthusiasm I want to share with people what I experienced through yoga – perfect harmony within itself, satisfaction, serenity and just to be happy :-)

Besides teaching in yoga studios and gyms I also provide private classes and take time to understand my client's current needs and goals to design then a program tailored to their specific needs and preferences. Additionally I am also trained in teaching Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. And as I have been working in an office environment as a graphic designer for many years and know first-hand what employees need I also offer on-site yoga classes for businesses and local organizations. From an invigorating flow class to chair yoga before work, during lunch breaks or after hours.

I can teach both in English and German language.
