Mo began her yoga journey in 2014 in search of something to complement her time in the gym and to bring some much needed relief from mental and emotional stress that comes with working in Special Education. She developed a consistent practice involving Vinyasa, Hatha, and Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga. Her practice led her down a path of self-discovery she'd been longing for but unable to find through other self-care methods alone. She became a teacher in 2016 through YogaBuzz, and her style combines strength, focus, and play in a trauma informed environment to make yoga accessible and fun for beginners, and allows advanced students rediscover and expand their practice. Mo’s experience with mental health and special education has made her passionate about giving tools for resiliency, recovery, and everyday living to her students.
