Monessa is a mom, artist, healer, intuitive guide, mentor and friend. She has been teaching yoga since 2013 and is a yoga alliance registered E-RYT 200, YACAP. As a teacher Monessa is enthusiastic and high energy, her friendly outgoing nature makes everyone feel at ease in her classes. She is CPR certified, and a reiki II practitioner, currently she’s working towards her master reiki certification. Monessa regularly participates in continuing education, she believes the more she knows the more she can share with her students. Although she enjoys studying other forms of yoga and borrows some moves too, Monessa’s roots are in ashtanga which is evident in her teaching style. She teaches a traditional primary series and also a few non traditional classes adding some music and a ton of fun. All classes offer a nice “work out” in addition to practicing pranayama (breath control) and strengthening the mind body connection.
Her classes are tailored for the students present but she likes fast paced and high energy so if thats your thing and you are needing a yogic butt kicking, Monessa’s class might be the one for you!
Beginners are encouraged, all skill levels welcomed.
