Sevanti is the founder and Director of the Unity Studio & School of Yoga, Dance & Bodywork, based in Brighton, Unity School has been developed over the last 15 years by Sevanti, and now offers comprehensive professional training programs in Yoga Teacher Training, Holistic Massage, and the only Partner Yoga Teacher Training Diploma in the she created.
Sevanti also travels across the UK, Sweden, Turkey, Greece and Thailand teaching. Her Yogic journey began at an early age, enhanced while studying a degree in Contemporary Dance at The Laban Centre, London.
Yoga Teacher Training followed back in 1996, which opened many doors into Healing and related Bodywork. Sevanti became a Reiki Master, and soon fused her teaching and therapies to form her established Retreat Company. On a retreat, each participant receives a complimentary treatment in addition to daily classes and workshops in Yoga, Meditation, Massage and often Dance.
Her passion for her chosen path has guided her to establish two Diplomas in Yoga Teacher Training and Massage. The Diplomas are thorough in content, while being fun and inspiring. Each weekend of study is arranged as a Retreat, with daily Meditation, dance and Hatha emphasis is on the well-being of the Practitioner/Teacher, which becomes the result of recommended daily Spiritual practice.
The essence of Sevanti’s work is sacred, whilst remaining down to earth and available to everyone. She teaches with humility, acceptance and an open mind.
Her passion for Reiki ensures a traditional way of teaching, honouring the required time between levels and small teaching groups. Sevanti’s treatments are an extensive spectrum of worldwide disciplines.
