I've been practicing yoga since 1992 and teaching since 2001. I'm a Yoga Teacher and Holistic Nutrition Consultant with a background in Shiatsu and Social work. Combining these disciplines has allowed me to develop a holistic and evolving understanding of our bodies and our hearts. I am pulled toward life’s dualities and how they can’t exist without each other: strength and softness, effort and surrender, contracting and releasing, inhaling and exhaling. I approach each practice as an opportunity to delve into these opposites, and to deepen embodiment, mindfulness and presence in whatever arises. With an emphasis on safety and alignment, my classes are an exploration of body, mind and soul so that we may meet ourselves exactly where we are: in our own skin, on our own feet, in our own heart.
