I've been practicing yoga since 1992 and teaching since 2001. I'm a Yoga Teacher and Holistic Nutrition Consultant with a background in Shiatsu and Social work. Combining these disciplines has allowed me to develop a holistic and evolving understanding of our bodies and our hearts. I am pulled toward life’s dualities and how they can’t exist without each other: strength and softness, effort and surrender, contracting and releasing, inhaling and exhaling. I approach each practice as an opportunity to delve into these opposites, and to deepen embodiment, mindfulness and presence in whatever arises. ​With an emphasis on safety and alignment, my classes are an exploration of body, mind and soul so that we may meet ourselves exactly where we are: in our own skin, on our own feet, in our own heart.
