Because I began my study of yoga in my 50s, I am especially interested in working with older and "non-typical" students. I believe that there is a yoga practice for everyone, and I focus on gentle and chair yoga. My classes explore the mind-body connection through asana and other forms of movement. The emphasis is on inquiry and a focus on range of motion, alignment, breathing, and relaxation.
I have studied yoga since 2003 and began teaching in 2011. I have completed 500 hours of training with Scott Anderson of Alignment Yoga, and continue to study with him. My teaching also includes insights from somatics and Viniyoga.
