Natasha, who teaches alignment-based yoga classes across Richmond, firmly believes in the teaching of The Bhagavad Gita that "Yoga is the journey of the Self, through the Self, to the Self."
While working 60-80 hours per week, she suffered frequent panic attacks and a 9-month sabbatical brought yoga into her life. She had the great fortune of taking workshops with some of the world's most recognized yoga leaders: John Schumacher, Rebecca Lerner, Roger Cole, Leslie Freyberg, Rodney & Colleen Yee, Rod Stryker, Katie Silcox, Dana Trixie-Flynn, and Lila Pierce-Brown. And she received her 200hr RYT through YogaWorks, which combines the continuous movement of the Ashtanga system with the rigorous alignment principles of Iyengar.
Aside from teaching yoga, Natasha loves helping small businesses move from where they are to where they want to be, spending time with her family – including her 10 yr. old Yorkie Bentley, and volunteering and serving in leadership positions with the Junior League of Richmond (JLR) and the Iyengar Yoga Association Southeast Region (IYASE).
Curly Curvy Yogini is Natasha's alter ego. By practicing being her authentic self, she is working to build a community where everyone can go to be their most authentic selves as well.
