I was born and raised in the little town of Salto, Uruguay. My passion for movement and martial arts started at a very early age. Judo, kung fu, sipalki, boxing, karate – they all requiered full concentration, body awareness and commitment – something I later found in yoga. I started to practice ashtanga yoga in 2004. I began to meditate, read a lot of books on yoga and experimented more and more with my body and mind. I realised that I was capable of much more than I’d ever thought.
My practice has changed a lot over the last couple of years, and I now like play more with vinyasa flow, and it’s what most inspires me. No sequence is like another, it gives me the opportunity to be creative and playful, and has no limitations or rules.
