I'm a mum, children's yoga instructor, family yoga facilitator, former childminder and kindergarten teacher. I teach children and families, children of all ages, abilities and personalities. I try my best to show children a way to manage their own stresses and issues but keeping it fun and light! But I'm the lucky one learning from these little yogis every day I'm in class with them.
I have worked for years teaching children of all different cultures and ages. When I was working in Thailand, yoga found me and I followed a path to bring yoga and mindfulness to as many children as possible. Having training in yoga in India in 2011, I specialised in yoga and mindfulness for children throughout 2012 and went on to set up YoYo Yoga, Yoga and Mindfulness for Children and Families in 2012. In 2014, Y-Yoga followed bringing slow, mindful (and candlelit) yoga for adults to a busy, hectic world.
