YTT 200hr, White Lotus Foundation
Completed a 16 day intensive course with Kent Bond & Sven Holcomb, Tracey Rich and Ganga White. The course covers the origins of Yoga, alignment and application of asana, anatomy, and yoga sequencing. We were also instructed briefly on thai massage techniques to aid in adjustments.
10 day Vipassana Course, Dhamma Medini Center

It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body, which can be experienced directly by disciplined attention to the physical sensations that form the life of the body, and that continuously interconnect and condition the life of the mind. It is this observation-based, self-exploratory journey to the common root of mind and body that dissolves mental impurity, resulting in a balanced mind full of love and compassion." My time in this course allowed me to see things as they really are and come into the present. Although I do not reach Vipassana meditation, I guide students through a meditative experience while providing a safe and neutral container for them to practice their own meditation in.
