Her goal as an instructor is to teach students how to use the breath and body to self nourish and bring about healing and positive mental, emotional, and physical change. Dr. Mathis aims to show students how to use yoga asana and pranayama to facilitate the transformation of the mind and body away from tension and stress towards relaxation and restoration.
