I've been a dedicated yoga practitioner since 2002. I attended my first teacher training in 2003, the 500 hour Bikram training, and have been teaching full-time ever since. Two years later I trained in San Francisco with Rusty Wells at his Bhakti Urban Flow studio. In 2006 I attained a 500 hour training doing traditional massage, cranio-sacral therapy and Thai Yoga massage. My classes include anatomy, medical benefits, detailed alignment cues, and of course love and affection. Currently, I own and operate a studio in Bend, Oregon, Mid-Town Juniper Yoga.

Inspiring

I am 67 years old and was reluctant to take Nicole's class on inversions and arm balancing, but I learned so many ways to continue to do the prep in order to be able to do the actual asana. Although she herself can do anything, she understands that others have limitations and restrictions. She is compassionate and caring while maintaining a strong directive presence. I hope to take a workshop from her again.

A Fantastic Instructor!!!

Nicole is a fantastic instructor and excellent mentor. She gives detailed instructions throughout her classes and she has an innate ability to "read" her students. She is forthcoming in offering modifications and preparatory poses for advanced asanas. She is an efficient teacher that uses her knowledge in anatomy to design classes that really, truly prepare the body for peak asanas. Nicole is definitely a teachers teacher and loves to share her knowledge with her students and teachers alike. If you get the chance definitely take the opportunity to take one of her classes or workshops.

A yoga instructor for yoga instructors

Nicole's classes are filled with extensive knowledge, anatomy and yoga philosophy. I learn something new each time I practice with her. She knows what's happening in my body just by watching me. She extends additional information and ways to heal, strengthen and find my balance. I'm grateful for her wisdom and desire to teach.
