I am a highly experienced yoga and meditation practitioner and qualified teacher in Hatha, Vinyassa and Restorative yoga styles.
I started a life-long love affair with yoga whilst travelling through India in 2007. I fell in love with Iyengar yoga and Vipassana meditation high up in the Himalayas. Since then I have practised meditation, kriya, pranayama and asana regularly and consistently.
After a few years of building a strong physical foundation whilst emerging in deep meditation at Manly Yoga, Mangrove Satyananda Ashram and Bikram Yoga Brookvale in Sydney, I moved to Perth to study at Fremantle Yoga Centre where I completed 350hour teacher training in 2016.
Studying at Fremantle Yoga Centre (Eshed) with masters of the trade who have 100 years of combined teaching experience, I have trained with the best of the best by practising, studying and assisting in the classes of Master Kale Leaf (Founder of Yoga Therapy in WA, student of Iyengar), Studio owner Kate Porotto-Nelson (Power/Pregnancy/Mums&Bubs Yoga) and James McIntyre (Pranayama/Advanced). With Fremantle Yoga Centre and Off the Wall Yoga as her home base, I love practising with my teachers and my peers at both centres.
My vision is that yoga is for everyone and that through yoga, the world can change, one person at the time. Just close your eyes, look inside and feel. Stay on your own mat and do your own inner work. Practise kindness, acceptance and compassion towards your own being. Embody self-love and kindle your inner flame. When you accept all parts of you by breathing into them, there no longer is a need to criticize others - it will become easy to hold others in a loving embrace. Live and let be.
