After a lifetime of chronic depression and a collapsed marriage, with two young children and facing desperate economic hardships, Nina found her way to Yoga. The devotion of her teachers, Melanie Fawer, (one of the first females to be sanctioned to teach Ashtanga by Pattabhi Jois), and Bhakti Yogi Sean Johnson of Wild Lotus, fostered a foundation for a centered life. Nina was further inspired to pursue of a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling (2004). After completing her RYT certifications, with BMC mentor Lisa Clark, Nina crafted MindBody Centering Teacher Trainings and Retreats, programs that uniquely blend methodologies, practices, and techniques, including the Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Nada and Restorative Yoga traditions.
