This is an intermediate, sometimes advanced, yoga class integrating vinyasa, subtle body awareness, pranayama/breath work techniques, meditation, alignment awareness and yogic philosophy. No class will be the same, offering the students the opportunity to work particular parts of the body and gain insight into self-awareness through movement and exploration. Poses will be held for longer periods of time to enhance alignment consciousness and promote strength building. Flowing movements are integrated with mindful breath and steady mind. Class will end in either chanting or meditation, possibly a few restorative poses, as well as a sweet and long Savasana.
