Nir is studying Yoga since 1996. He met Ashtanga Yoga initially as an addition for Buddhist meditation practice, and was taken with great interest by it's intelligent movement and mindful practice. He was primarily taught and inspired by Richard Freeman of Boulder, CO. He traveled to Mysore and studied with Sri K. Pattabhi Joisand Sharath Rangaswamy at KPJAYI and continued to study with senior teachers as Rolf Naujokat, John Scott, Chuck Miller, Maty Ezraty, Annie Pace, David Swenson.
Inspired by his teachers and the learning process, he approaches teaching with a background in Philosophy and Art, an eye for detail, with a motivation to promote contemplative quality in others, so they can grow appreciation for the process of Yoga and for practice itself.
As a Practitioner of Rolfing® Structural Integration and Rolf Movement Practitioner™, Nir is integrating modalities to support the exploration of one’s centre of Gravity with hands-on bodywork and further movement education.
