I started Iyengar yoga by chance in 2010 when I was invited to attend a class by a friend. I got hooked and have never stopped since. I have always loved doing a physical activity such as dancing or gymnastics, and yoga brought the two together for me with a meditative side to it.
I studied to become a teacher at the Manchester and District Institute of Iyengar Yoga (MDIIY) and qualified in October, 2016. I attend regular classes and workshops at the MDIIY.
Yoga gives me a feeling of regeneration, energy, balance and peace of mind. It also allows for a good physical stretch, making me feel like I have been working out and it makes me feel healthier in general.
At the moment, I run one class in Llandudno, at the Ty Llywelyn Community Centre every Tuesdays from 7.30 to 9pm, and plan to create more classes in the future. In the meantime, you are welcome to join me whether you are a beginner or a more experienced yogi.
