Nora has always been fascinated with physical movement, anatomy and the link between body and mind. After intensively training and performing as a dancer between the ages of 5 to 20, she discovered yoga in 2005, and for the first time experienced a sense of freedom from competition and an increased awareness of her own body and health.
A regular ashtanga yoga practice has given Nora so much support at difficult periods in my life and she is passionate about sharing yoga with others.
Nora is lucky to have studied with some truly inspiring teachers including Scott Johnson, Andy Gill, Gingi Lee, Alex Medin, John Scott, Matthew Sweeney, Ajay Kumar, BNS Iyengar, Sharath Jois, Pete Rego, Olivier David and Nea Ferrier. Nora has completed teacher training with David Swenson and Manju Jois.
Nora has a 500-hour certification from Byron Yoga Centre and has been teaching yoga regularly for the past six years. Next to yoga her favourite pastimes are vegan cooking and long distance running.
Nora has a Master in Physics from Imperial College London and a full-time corporate career.
