Pascha Jirasakwittaya is a certified yoga teacher, movement-based performance artist, physical performer, and dance anthropologist. She obtained her Master’s degree on dance knowledge, practice and heritage (International Master Programme in Norway, France, Hungary, England).
Her passion for the body and the way it communicates has inspired her to use the body as a tool to increase vitality and playfulness as well as cultivating awareness and peace in mind. Her yoga practice comes from both traditional and experimental background. She has learnt a wide range of different yoga styles from respective yogis and gurus from different places. These styles include Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Acroyoga, Thai Yoga Massage. In her class, Pascha strongly focuses on four components: asanas (postures), alignment, pranayama (breathing exercise) and yoga philosophy all, of which have been twisted in a joyful, dynamic, creative, flow style of teaching.
At Thanyapura Pascha incorporates yoga in a highly individualized approach, with a large number of complementary treatments from her team at wellness centre (massage, reiki, physiology, chiropractic, mind training, nutrition, acupuncture, creative arts), to optimize the overall physical, mental, and social functioning.
