My yoga journey first began when I attended classes with our friend Carol-Anne, who continues to be an inspiration to us all. Her shining light has so far motivated people to run marathons, cycle the length and breadth of Britain, and climb Mount Everest.

I then took up regular practice of yoga in August 2009, after visiting a friend who was very calm and relaxed as a result of her yoga class that evening ... I wanted some of that!

The years that have passed since then have been the best of my life - not because life has been very easy, but because yoga helps in so many ways to prepare me for what might happen by focusing my attention on the present moment, the here and now, as much as possible.

I trained as a Yoga Teacher in Rishikesh, India in 2013 and now weave yoga, breathwork, counselling skills and reiki healing together to support and enjoy my day-to-day life, and am pleased to offer these services to clients ...

I hope that we can learn together how to be the best friend, partner, family member, colleague or random stranger that we can be, starting with our relationship with ourselves.

"Be at least as interested in what goes on inside you as what happens outside. If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place” ~ Eckhart Tolle
