I began my exploration of yoga and meditation in 1997. In 2000, I started teaching yoga at the fitness center where I taught fitness and spinning classes. Over time, my love of yoga encouraged me to explore my personal practice and professional training more deeply. In 2007, I made the leap to teach yoga full-time and has never looked back.
Over the two decades of teaching, I have been fortunate to study and train extensively with internationally recognized teachers including: Desiree Rumbaugh, Amy Ippoliti, Douglas Brooks, Christy Burnette and Anusara Yoga founder John Friend as well as other acclaimed teachers. I am eternally grateful for their guidance, wisdom and inspiration. I continue to study with internationally recognized teachers, local teachers and I learn from each person that she meets; especially students.
I delight in sharing my knowledge of yoga; my mission being to help others feel better about themselves as they tap into their own wellspring of vibrancy, strength and joy. I strive to teach classes that are explorative, playful and empowering; weaving in themes applicable to daily living. I believe that my students are my greatest teachers and a huge source of inspiration.
