With a passion for health and life , Payal has almost a love affair with Yoga. For her Yoga is nurturing, soothing and empowering. She believes Yoga takes care of developing and ‘discovering’ ourselves on all levels : physical, emotional, psychological, intellectual and spiritual.

She completed her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training with Yogalife® in Dharamsala, India. Fascinated by human biology, health and science drove her to study Biomedical Engineering in India, Germany and Switzerland. She is born and brought up in Dubai and has spent a few years in India where she first stepped on the mat at the age of 17. She realizes that the world of inner engineering of yoga and that of health engineering are very similar at their core, both understanding the experiences that come up during the ‘process’ of living.

She is patient and loves to teach and learn constantly from inspiring teachers from different parts of the world such as Shiva Rea, Coral Brown, Simon Park, Rod Stryker , Poonam Stecher Sharma , Sanjeev Bhanot, Savira Gupta and others. She is currently working towards her 300 Hours certification exploring various elements of Shiva Rea’s Prana Flow Yoga®. Teaching a combination of different forms of Hatha yoga she has always tried to spread the joy of Yoga and awesomeness of existence on and off the mat.

Her interests are in Yoga, Ayurveda and other spheres of Eastern Medicine. She still loves her subjects of Anatomy, Physiology and Neuroscience that makes the human body the most fascinating to learn about.

She teaches in English primarily. However, she can use some Hindi and German if required.

Embodies strength, grace and spirit

I first met Payal when she was studying to become a teacher. She impressed me with her beautiful practice and her innate knowledge of yoga philosophy. Her graceful demeanour and clear, calm voice will take you gently and safely through your yoga practice. Highly recommended :)

a tough soul with a soft heart

the title seems explanatory but i shall try. She is the kinda person who takes everything they do very seriously and with attention to detail. She would be the right person for you if you wanna learn something with more understanding and a little bit of fun.

Great teacher :)

Payal and I started working together since I was 14 weeks pregnant. She has been a fantastic teacher and has really helped me to improve alot. She strikes the perfect balance between relaxing and active sessions which is perfect for a pregnant lady! Focus on breathing techniques I am sure will come in handy during labour aswell. I cant wait to continue yoga with her post birth and challenge myself to keep getting better and to improve my flexibility even further
