Human physiology has always interested Peggy. An early beginning in gymnastics was the catalyst that influenced her love of movement and a career in physical therapy. Peggy has 20 years experience providing physical therapy to clients with a wide variety of needs in all the body systems. She believes everyone can do yoga.
Peggy received her 230 hour teacher training in 2012 at Yoganize and her 500-hour Advanced Therapeutic Yoga Certification at Asheville Yoga Center in the summer of 2014. Peggy is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
She explains that while yoga is physical, it is not just a way of it is a way of life. With breath leading the way, she strives to demonstrate safe alignment and provide gentle adjustments to protect both beginner and experienced yoga students in their journey.
Peggy is a yoga teacher, yoga therapist, and reiki practitioner teaching classes, private sessions, therapeutic yoga series and workshops for wellness and medical facilities, corporations, children's yoga at schools/home schooling as well as studios and gyms in the upstate area and beyond. She enjoys "weaving in" her knowledge of anatomy and thai yoga bodywork as well. Please contact her for further information at:
