I study, practice and teach the combination of traditional Hatha Yoga, right-handed mishra Tantra Yoga and Ayurveda (Indian traditional medicine). I have chosen this integrated pathway because all three of these disciplines are age-old, time-tested holistic practices which aim to purify and strengthen the body, create energy, calm the mind, refine the breath, balance the mind and body, promote health and brighten our Spirit.
My classes are for EVERYONE. I believe that as long as one has an open mind and a willingness to participate, Yoga is accessible to all. l strive to make a person’s Yoga experience rewarding and provide a welcoming environment free from judgment and competition.
I have experience teaching Yoga to individuals who range in age from 11-80 years old, may be overweight, recovering from injury, or managing illnesses such as arthritis, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, or depression, as well as those in good health.
I am also the Owner & Director of Satya Yoga in Madison, WI since June 2012.
