Phoebe is blessed to not remember a time when yoga was not a part of her life. She began by mimicking shapes in her body and exaggerating her breath while watching her mother, a yogi of 40+ years. Phoebe became a more serious practitioner in her late teens as she sought relief from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. She attributes not only the physical practice, but also the emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga in helping her heal. In order to pass on the amazing gift of yoga, she completed teachers trainings in the Ashtanga and Anusara styles in her twenties.

Her light-hearted style combines the fundamental and traditional poses of Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on alignment, creative sequencing to move with the breath, and above all healing.

Phoebe's classes are fun, energetic, and challenging. She maintains a safe and happy environment for any level student to practice yoga. Phoebe is passionate about teaching and is trained in ashtanga and anusara. I highly recommend her classes.

I love the way Phoebe combines art with yoga.

The first yantra class I took with Phoebe she was so encouraging and supportive in helping me create my very own yantra from beginning to completion. She left me with the skills and knowledge to make yantras on my own and bring this meditative art into my own practice. Thank you Phoebe!
