Pilar has been practicing different styles of yoga for years, but in 2013 she discovered Ashtanga and it put her life up side down. She instantly felt in love with the practice after experiencing how powerful and transformative it can be, as it becomes a meditation in movement.
She completed several courses in India, in both ashtanga and vinyasa styles, and travels every year to Mysore to practice with her guru and teacher R. Sharath Jois. She have also studied with high profile teacher like David Williams, Rolf and Marci Naujokat.
Pilar teaches from the heart and brings the philosophy of yoga into the asana practice. She is very disciplined in her daily routine and believes that meditation and self study are key for the spiritual growth. She also puts a lot emphasis on adjustments and alignment.
