Known for her curiosity, playfulness and nurturing style, Poh leads classes through movement with breath, awareness, healthy alignment and safe, creative sequencing. She offers a practice that helps create spacious presence for the busy, modern life.
Yoga is a come-as-you-are party. Poh invites you to honor your truth in the present moment, and to breathe, strengthen, heal and play. She encourages you to be your own best friend. Join her for group classes at Loka Yoga and Namaste Yoga + Wellness (Grand Lake Studio). Because yoga is not one-size-fits-all, Poh also offers private therapy sessions in the San Francisco Bay Area, helping clients move forward in healthy ways. She is especially interested in offering yoga therapy for back pain and cancer wellness.
Poh is trained in the Vinyasa and therapeutic styles, and continues to be inspired and informed by the Anusara, Forrest, Power, Shadow and Iyengar Yoga lineages. With over 700 hours of training and a PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, she blends yogic tradition, mindfulness practices, and current findings in biology and yoga therapy. Occasionally, there's a splash of Bhakti and she sings.
