Prema Lynn Felder is a nurturing yoga teacher, an award-winning journalist and an inspiring keynote speaker. She teaches her students to take charge of their personal recovery from traumatic challenges.
While dealing with ovarian cancer in 1998-1999, Prema Lynn, , intensified her lifelong study of yoga. After recovery, she received her teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center and has taken subsequent trainings in restorative and therapeutic yoga including Levels 1 and 3 Yoga for People with Cancer with Jnani Chapman, , , , , at Yogaville, Va.
"Although I had practiced yoga off and on since the 1960s, it took a serious illness to bring me into a full realization of the healing power of yoga," Prema Lynn says. "Cancer nearly took away my body; yoga gave it back. I am grateful every day for the practice, grateful for my teachers and grateful to my students who teach me with their practice."
