Sports and martial arts led me to yoga 10 years ago. Seeking to increase flexibility and manage injuries, yoga opened to a world of limitless possibility. Arriving from the United States to South Africa in 2010, Ashtanga and Vinyasa practice with Jacqueline Ivory () continued my journey. Enjoying advanced personal practice evolved into training and teaching with Jim Harrington ().
My experience includes twenty years of sport competition: University Division 1 Track & Field; Martial arts and Fitness training (Aikido, Judo, TaeKwonDo (WTF) and Hapkido (1st Dan Black belt, Korea Ki Do Association), Brazilian Ju Jitsu (Coach). Biomechanics, efficient movement and breath expansion is all part of the way to Health and Optimal Wellness (). Other activities include artmaking, scholarly writing, and University lecturing ().
