A former member of acclaimed ritual theatre company FoolishPeople, Rachael performed in and produced film, theatre and live art within a drama therapy framework before dedicating herself to yoga practice and teaching.
Drawn to Forrest Yoga through her history of eating disorders and depression, Rachael completed teacher training with internationally renowned yogi and healer Ana Forrest. In Janunary 2015 she will embark on a year-long mentorship with senior Forrest Yoga teacher Sandra Heider to further deepen her studies. She has also studied yoga nidra with Uma Dinsmore Tuli and anatomy with Ellen Heed. She is grateful to these teachers for inspiring her interest in transformational, therapeutic approaches to yoga.
