My love of yoga started with Ashtanga Yoga, I had never felt so connected and filled with so much purpose as during my first practice and I fell in love. Later, when I fell ill, I turned to yoga for strength. I began studying therapeutics and alignment, using yoga as medicine. I believe that we each need to practice the way our body needs us to practice on any given day. It is an amazing thing to learn your body well enough to know if you need to give it fire, or provide it with calm.
This is what I would hope to pass on to my students. Teach you how to feel your body, to find the paths that are closed and open them. Help you actively live inside of your body instead of existing within it.
