*Kids Yoga*
Yoga with children offers many possibilities to exchange wisdom, share good times, and lay the foundation for a lifelong practice that will continue to deepen.
In "Lichtjesyoga" we co-create our classes. We use the yoga postures as a springboard for exploration of folktales & fairytales storytelling from different parts of the world. Animal adaptations and behaviour, music & playing instruments and drawing, so our time together becomes a truly interdisciplinary approach to learning. Together we weave stories with our bodies and minds in a flow that could only happen in kids play and fantasy! Come and crawl with Anansi the spider or walk with us into the kampong with the Kantjil (deer mouse)!!
Sivananda Hatha yoga
Sivananda Yoga is a classical and holistic approach to Hatha Yoga; it is a complete healing system designed to help the body maintain a natural healthy class involves 12 basic postures that seek to increase strength, flexibility, proper breathing, and ease in
Chair Yoga
In Chair yoga we modify the yoga poses so that they can be done while seated in a chair. This makes yoga accessible to people who cannot stand or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to seated positions. On the chairs students can do versions of twists, hip stretches, forward bends, and mild backbends. In addition to a good stretch, you may also enjoy health benefits, including improved muscle tone, better breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep, and a sense of well-being :-)
