I am a yoga teacher and adult educator, I have been teaching in educational and community settings for over fifteen years. I am also the founder of Mindful Yoga Liverpool. I was trained in Altea Andalucia, where I lived for ten years experiencing the excellent tuition of my teachers at the Mindful Yoga Academy. I have a BSc in environmental science and I am a certified RYT registered yoga teacher and have completed MBSR. I am dedicated to putting mindful yoga and wellness strategies into the hands of students and I love sharing the transformational impact of mindful yoga with students in all stages of life.
Mindful Yoga is a way of life and a way of living more fully and mindfully where each student learns how to bring themselves to a greater place of balance and ease. We’re not all built the same, we all have unique conditioning and needs and Mindful Yoga embraces and celebrates these differences. Specializing in teaching you how to empower yourself using yoga tools, including asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), meditation and self-study allowing you to live at your fullest potential, regardless of health status. Classes utilize restorative breath and meditative movement as a means of empowering individuals to create a practice that best serves you!
In each class, mindful techniques address the fluctuating needs of daily life, by teaching you how to meet yourself where you are and how to adapt your own practice, to work gentle or strong, to create greater balance and ease as you need it most. Yoga classes meet a full spectrum of student needs, including gentle and therapeutic series and athlete specific classes. Classes are appropriate for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. Most classes are especially helpful for those living with chronic health conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis, chronic pain and chronic stress or anxiety. Mindful Yoga exists for YOU to discover how to use yoga tools to live more fully and mindfully, both on and off the mat!
