Rachelle comes to Paris from Vancouver Canada, where she had the pleasure of teaching a wide range of yoga classes over the course of eight years.
She trained in India with the Sivananda School in Kerala in 2007, and at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai in 2011 to study yoga Classical Philosophy and the yoga style of Krishnamacharya. One of her greatest teacher influences is Rod Stryker with whom she has completed a training and workshops. She is also influenced by the work of Jill Miller and completed a Yoga Tune Up training in 2013.
She combines her studies of yoga, passion about science based methods to create positive change, and background in Wellness to assist students to achieve balance in their lives.
She teaches four different styles of yoga (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative) as well as Yoga Nidra and Meditation. Her classes are grounded in stability and awareness, she guides students to use their breath in order to find space in their minds and to go deeper into their bodies. Her classes incorporate biomechanics in equal measure to drawing upon awareness of energetics to move blockages.
