Rama Vernon

Rama Jyoti Vernon, author of “Yoga: Practice of Myth and Sacred Geometry” is an internationally acclaimed yoga instructor and peace mediator. She has trained with master teachers such as BKS Iyengar, TKV Desikachar, Sant Keshavadas and many more. She holds a deep knowledge of all aspects of yoga that has been instrumental to the foundation of contemporary yoga in the United States. Rama Jyoti founded the California Yoga Teachers' Association, whose newsletter was the original Yoga Journal and the organization Unity in Yoga, and turned over its nonprofit status to establish Yoga Alliance.
