My approach to Yoga is based on a span of over 20 years of study both in Yoga/Yoga therapy and in the healing arts of massage, neuro-muscular and myofascial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure, reiki, reflexology, energy balancing and other related studies. This background has given me the nickname "the muscle whisperer" , a keenly developed eye, and allowed me to specialize in private yoga(therapy) classes where the needs of the student are evaluated and met.
I believe that Yoga is a practical methodology for living life well, and have been called, "The Modern Yogini" for my blog contributions to various on-line publications like MindBodyGreen and Elephant Journal. My group classes blend vinyasa, alignment and kinetic skills as well as restoratives, breathing and relaxation, with options so that each student is encouraged to find their unique best, their unique Yoga. Always challenge plus safety.
I recently came out with a CD called, YOGA MIND available at as a tribute to my belief that peacefulness is the key to excellent health. I am currently teaching workshops in Canada and USA.
