My practice and teaching of yoga is inspired by the philosophy of Vanda Scaravelli and influenced by many years of learning the Alexander Technique. I focus very much on working in a gentle and intelligent way to encourage the body to go into postures when it is ready. I believe that if we are kind to our body – our body will respond and begin to change. We do not just do yoga – we become yoga when the body is ready.
As a result my approach to teaching yoga is Therapeutic and is especially useful in addressing back, neck and shoulder problems, hip and knee problems and general muscles aches and pains and stiff joints.
I offer classes, workshops, retreats and one to one tuition from a variety of locations and also from my home for via Skype for one to one sessions.
